women’s circles

a space to connect

This season’s global women’s circles, held online, are now open to join or gift

6 - Week Journey | Tuesdays 6.30 - 7.45pm GMT | 11th March - 15th April
Booking closes Sunday 9th March

Monthly Membership | Sundays - in collaboration with Circles of Support.
To start the year we’re offering the opportunity to try as many circles as you like and meet different facilitators for one month,
Jan 27th - Feb 23rd, with the
Open House ticket.

If you’re curious and considering joining but have a question or would like to meet me first - let’s schedule a 15 minute virtual coffee.

Wherever you are in the world, I’d love to hear from you.

Each circle brings together a small group of women, for 75 minutes weekly, to create a rare space to pause together.

I hold the virtual space, beginning with a meditation and providing structure to guide our discussion and reflection. But it is the women themselves who make each circle unique, nourishing and entertaining.

By listening deeply and without judgement, to ourselves and each other, we find wisdom.

FAQs

What’s the purpose of women’s circle?

Women’s circle is an hour in the week set aside to pause and connect, free of expectations. You are invited to ‘come as you are’. Together, we create the space to reflect, explore, and rediscover the things that are meaningful to us.

What do you do in a women’s circle?

Each week opens with a short meditation, and uses a theme to guide reflection and discussion. Together we try out techniques like journalling, visualisation or word association to uncover new perspectives. We listen to each other and share our thoughts as and only when we feel like it.

How can I join a women’s circle?

You can take part from anywhere you have wifi access and a space in which you’ll be undisturbed for an hour. There are two global circles currently open for booking.

  1. My next 6-week seasonal circle series begins on 6.30pm GMT on 11th March - 15th April. Book here.

  2. In a new collaboration with Circles of Support, you can try a variety of circles run by different facilitators in an Open House month. Elizabeth Shepley and I will be holding an ongoing Sunday Circle in 2025 beginning 2nd February. Book open house here.

Nb: Are you keen to join, but can’t at that time of day? Then please send me a message as I will open a circle for easterly time zones if I hear there is need for one.

Is women’s circle for me?

Women’s circle is for women who need space to pause in their life to ‘hear themselves think’, to reflect, to question, and to be supported in exploring whatever might come to light. Anyone 18 - 80+ years old who identifies as a woman or gender fluid is most welcome. I identify the women who’ve joined my circles as brave, curious souls.

I’ve been googling, it sounds all new-agey…is there loads of stuff about the moon?!

Not necessarily! There are as many themes and styles of women’s circles as there are women who offer and attend them. My women’s circles are agnostic with regard to faith and spirituality.

My co-facilitators in Circles of Support use moon phases as helpful structure for a month of Circles, and you can of course talk about the moon if that’s meaningful to you. But it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s part of the beauty of this way of gathering.

Women experience Circle as a rare space where they can share honestly, because the invitation is to simply listen deeply to others. No judgement, no need to fix, persuade or advise. So all perspectives that allow room for others to share the space are welcome.

Is it like therapy?

In my experience being in a women’s circle can do us the world of good, but is distinct from a professional psychotherapeutic space. This might be something you feel encouraged to seek out alongside your circle experience or after it comes to a close, to work with patterns or traumas that need 1:1 support and specific expertise. The UKCP has a handy search function to find someone who suits your focus, style and geography.

I can’t afford the fee, is there another way to join?

Yes, there is always space for you. Please drop me a message here, and we can explore an alternative skills exchange. Payment plans are also available.

Can I chat to you first?

Absolutely! All new joiners and those considering it are invited to book a 15 minute virtual coffee with me, just send me a message here with your preferred contact and we’ll find a time that suits.

If you buy a women’s circle as a gift, do let the lucky recipient know that they’re welcome to book a virtual coffee so we can meet eachother and they can ask all the question they might have. If they decide Women’s Circle isn’t right for them at the moment, they are welcome to exchange the value towards a massage, or pass it on as a gift to someone else.
